This early Rattanakosin Temple was constructed around 1875. It was originally called 'Wat Pak Khlong' due to its location near Na Kluea canal. It was also called 'Wat Saked Mu'. The temple was granted a consecrated boundary in 1888 during the reign of King Chulalongkorn Rama V, and named 'Wat Chong Lom' up to present days. This Dhammayuttika Nikaya temple is serene with large perennial trees. The temple also includes the ancient prayer hall, which has been well preserved, and the Hall of Phra Bua Khem, highly revered by local residents.
